The undersigned is directed to say that in pursuance of decision

Seniority List
Common
Seniority List of Steno. Grade ‘C’
2. In
this context, it is brought to the notice of all concerned that during the
process of preparation of the CSL, it was noticed that the rank/merit number of
the direct recruits of Stenos. Grade ‘C’ in the Combined Merit List (i.e. list
showing the common merit of English and Hindi Stenographers Grade ‘C’) had not
been indicated by some of the cadres, in the Cadre Seniority List, resulting in
disorder to the extent that two direct recruits had been given the same rank
number, which created difficulties in assigning proper placement in the
list. With a view to obviate this
difficulty and also to fix correct seniority, the rank number obtained by the
direct recruits as indicated in the Combined Merit List provided by the Staff
Selection Commission has been shown in the list against the direct
recruits. The Combined Merit List of
Stenographers (DRs) for the years 1989 and 1990 had
been forwarded to all Cadres vide this Department OM No.10/1/90-CS.II dated
27.3.96.
3. It
is requested that this may be brought to the notice of all concerned and the
concerned officials of Steno. Grade ‘C’ of CSSS (including those who have
proceeded from the Cadre on deputation to the ex-cadre post), may be requested
to submit representations/objections, if any, with regard to any factual
inaccuracy and the order of placement in the list, which may be forwarded alongwith the comments of the Cadres concerned to this
Department for appropriate action.
Cadre Authorities are also requested to verify the correctness of the particulars such as date of
regular appointment, date of birth, rank number (in the case of direct
recruits), etc., of the officers shown in the list. If the name of any Steno. Grade ‘C’ has been left out inadvertently from being
included in the list, the names of such officers alongwith their particulars may be forwarded to this
Department.
4. It
is also requested that if any of the Stenos. Grade ‘C’ shown in the list has
already been appointed as Private Secretary on regular basis against SQ/DE
quota or has ceased to be a member of the CSSS due to any reason, the names
of such officers alongwith full details may please be
furnished to this Department.
5. It
is requested that factual inaccuracies/deficiencies, if any, may be brought to
the notice of this Department immediately but not later than 08.03.2006.
If nothing is heard from any cadre by that date, it will be presumed
that there is no factual inaccuracy in the said list and the CSL will be
finalised accordingly.
