OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Sub:-          Section Officers/Stenographers(Gr. ‘B’/Gr. ‘I’) Limited Departmental Competitive  Examination, 2002, 2003 & 2004 - Appointment to Steno Gr. ‘A&B’ (merged) of CSSS-Allocation of qualified candidates of the supplementary list-  reg.

            The undersigned is directed to refer to this Department’ s O.M. No.5/7/2004-CS-II dated 11.6.2004 O.M. No. 5/15/2005-CS-II dated 2.9.2005 & O.M. No. 5/5/2006-CS-II dated 10.5.2006 and to say that   on the basis of the SOs/Stenos (GR. ‘B’/Gr. ‘I’) Limited Departmental Competitive Examinations 2002,2003 & 2004, a supplementary list of 13 candidates belonging to general category has been made available by the UPSC for their appointment to Steno Grade A&B (merged) of CSSS for these years.  It is, however, noted that one candidate namely Ms. Mansi Mehta whose name appears in the list of qualified candidates for the year 2002 has been recommended for appointment against the year 2003 also. Further 2 more candidates namely Ms. Manju Lata Bhati (Roll No.1632) and Shri Vangara Prasad  (Roll No. 1565) recommended for appointment against the year 2004 have already been appointed as Section Officer on the basis of the LDCE 2004. Therefore, these three candidates are not being allocated to any cadre. Having regard to this, only 10 candidates have effectively become available for appointment.  Ten (10) candidates belonging to general category are hereby allocated to different cadres of CSSS as shown in the Annexure of this Office Memorandum. Candidates have been retained in their own cadre to the extent of number of vacancies available there for the particular Select List.  The candidates who could not be adjusted in their own cadre for want of vacancies have been shifted to other cadres. They may be appointed immediately subject to their being found clear from vigilance angle.  The dossiers of the candidates, as received from the Commission, are sent herewith, which may be retained as part of their personal files.

2.         These candidates may be included in the Select list of Steno Grade ‘A&B’ (Merged) of CSSS for the S.L. year shown against their names (in the Annexure) in the manner indicated in the CSSS Rules, 1969.  Copies of appointment orders may please be endorsed to this Department and the UPSC.

3.         Receipt of this O.M. together with its enclosures may kindly be acknowledged.
