ORDER

 

Subject: Cadre Structure of Central Secretariat Stenographers Service (CSSS).

   

            The Government had set up a ‘Group of Officers’ on Cadre Structure of Central Secretariat Stenographers’ Service (CSSS) in October 2003.  The Group submitted its report in February 2004.  The report of the Group of Officers has been considered by the Government and it has, inter alia, been decided that for Direct Recruitment to Stenographer Grade ‘D’, the minimum educational qualification be raised to 12th standard and the element of computer literacy also be introduced.

 

2.         Necessary notification relating to amendments to the CSSS Rules will be issued separately.
