Sub: Percentage of representation of women in Civil Services

The undersigned is directed to say that Ministry of Personnel, P.G. & Pensions has evolved a 12^th Point Minimum Agenda for Women in Civil Services. For this purpose, data of representation of Women at various levels has to be collected to present a meaningful picture in this direction. It is, therefore, requested that post-wise data of representation of women in respect of Central Secretariat Clerical Service, Central Secretariat Service and Central Secretariat Stenographer Service as on 1^st day of January of 1980, 1990 and 2000 may please be sent separately in the enclosed proforma.

2. It is requested that this information may please be sent within one month of the issue of this letter. In case no central data/records have been maintained for this purpose the Pay Bill register may be referred to and information collected and sent as far as possible.
