OFFICE MEMORANDUM

Subject:Revision of rates of boarding and lodging charges in respect of training programmes other than IAS conducted by State Training Institutes.

Please refer to this Department’s letter No.14013/7/88-TNP, dated 6^th May, 1988 vide which the rates of boarding and lodging charges for State Training Institutes conducting IAS/Plan training programmes were revised to Rs.100/- (Rupees one hundred only) per day per participant with effect from 1.4.1988.

2. The boarding and lodging rates for IAS training programmes have been revised separately from time to time and orders relating thereto have also been issued.

3. It has now been decided to revise the boarding and lodging rates for other programmes sponsored by the Training Division. It may be noted that for these programmes it is the participants who would pay the institute and not the Training Division. The revised rates will be Rs.200/- per day per participant.

4. These rates are effective from 1.7.1999.

5. This issues with the concurrence of Internal Finance Division of Ministry .of Home Affairs vide their I.D.No.1669/DFA(P)/99, dated 16.7.99.
