The undersigned is directed to refer. to paragraph 2(iii) of this Departments' OM No. 12017/2/86-Trg, (TNP) dated 31.3.87 on the subject mentioned above and to clarify that the training allowance will count not only for leave salary payable during service but also, for leave encashment payable at the time of retirement.

2. This issues with the concurrence of Ministry of Finance, Deptt. of Expenditure, vide their ID. No. 825-EV/88 dated 25.4.87
